Make an API for ultrasesrch that applications can use

Instead of just opening ultrasesrch every time to do a search, perhaps make an API that apps can use, or make a launcher for it like Listary but uses the UltraSearch engine underneath. Or make it replace the windows search trash, where is uses the UltraSearch engine instead of the windows one.

Provide integration and extensibility tools for UltraSearch.
Rationale: Some users may use other search tools more often than UltraSearch because the other tools offer more flexibility in integration and extension.
As an example: voidtools Everything provides similar functionality to UltraSearch, although UltraSearch is a much better overall solution. One advantage voidtools Everything has is that it provides users the flexibility to integrate its functionality into other apps and workflows via calls to its .exe and scripting techniques.

What kind of API would you prefer? A REST API? Or a PowerShell cmdlet?
What kind of return format would you prefer? JSON or CSV or just a list of path?
