Impossible to use if the font is scaled (and not dpi).

@Rashad: We still would like to understand why a few users want a font that differs from the font of Windows Explorer or the system font. Understanding why users want a certain feature and knowing their ultimate goal helps us to better implement features.
I have attached a comparison of Windows Explorer (on the left) and TreeSize (on the right). Here I have increased the font size in Windows Settings to 175% (which is too large for some aplications - including the Options menus in TreeSize!) but it makes no difference to TreeSize. The issue here is the menu and icon text, not the body of the window containing the folder/file lists.
Thank you very much for the screenshot. In the first place, this is a bug that should be fixed. It did not occur to us so far. Which version of TreeSize are you using? If it is not the latest V9.1, could you please give that a try?
Hi Clive, did you already have a chance to contact our technical support? Since we cannot reproduce the problem, we would be very interested in your setup (TreeSize version, Windows version, Monitors + dpi).
I forgot to add this to my message just now - the bottom of the text on the tabs showing Details, etc. is cut off. Please see the attached screenshot. Thanks.
Users being able to dynamically adjust / customize the Font seems to be a reoccuring request. I know I submitted a request for this, wrapped in another thing, but got a similar response. We're not submitting bugs to you, we're all asking you to allow us to change the font size for a variety of different reasons. You should seriously consider it.
Hi Clive,
thanks for getting back to me. TreeSize should use the same font as Windows Explorer, and the Windows Explorer Font is adjustable. So this resembles more a bug report than a feature proposal. Please contact our technical support, they will be able to help or open a ticket in our bug tracker: customers.jam-software.de/contact.php?language=EN&article_no=90
Please include your version number and a screenshot that shows both Windows Explorer and TreeSize.
The font size of the menus and icon text is TINY on my 4k screen. The font size in Windows Explorer is normal. For some installed apps I have adjusted the fonts using their preferences/options and I have adjusted the Windows font size so most are now normal. TreeSize is the standout in having particularly small text. It needs an option to adjust this. Thanks.
TreeSize should use the same font size as Windows Explorer. So I wonder, in your case, does TreeSize have a different font size than the Windows Explorer? If yes, then this is clearly a bug.
If not, is your intention to keep the current font size in Windows Explorer and increase the font size only in TreeSize? Or would it help to increase the system font?
