Configure Scans Window, Status column does not show MD5 activity.
(1) Should show a note that it is creating MD5 checksums.
(2) Ideally, % # files and %GB MD5 completed.
(3) Optionally, show a time estimate to completion.

This feature had been introduced in the new version 7.0 of SpaceObServer.
Currently, double-clicking the "duplicate files" tab will pop-up a window that states how many files remain to have MD5 calculated. Unfortunately there's no way to force this calculation.
I added 2 drives to one scan container. One drive finished calculating MD5, so the duplicate folders list is now available but it is still "Searching for similar folders" as noted in the Configure Scans window. Unfortunately, MD5 calculation on the second drive is not continuing while the search for similar folders is occurring. (The second drive has 0 of 1.2 million files calculated.) (I tried "rescan. That rescanned the director but didn't encourage MD5 calc.) I can see this because there is zero drive activity on this drive. Disappointed because reading from the drive is the slowest activity. The search for similar folders is consuming zero drive activity. Perhaps the db is overloaded with requests because I'm just using the embedded db on the Trial. It's been 4 days to calc the MD5s on 5.5 GB of data (Solid. 30 MB/s for a long time but slowed later, mostly more intermittent.) . Another 3.2 GB on the second drive. [Testing similar files on a smaller folder looks good so I want to see it on the full drive. Even though I can't take any file actions from within SpaceObServer and therefore can only use the results as a starting point to select pairs of folders to sync or dedup in another program.]
